Leave no one behind” has been the rallying cry of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which feature a cross-cutting focus on inclusiveness and addressing inequalities. This collective 2030 Agenda can be achieved by realizing the importance of working in partnerships. IWF is supporting and working hand in hand with its partners for environmental conservation, climate change, conserving biodiversity, empowering women, advocating for the poor, promoting green economy and promoting citizen centric collaborative governance to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. It is the voice for the environment within the community and acts as a catalyst to address, advocate, educate, facilitate, and promote sustainable consumption and production. IWF has played a pioneering role in developing leadership capacity for sustainable development across sectors to address the world’s most pressing problems. We believe that to advance the SDGs we should make sure that the goals are effectively translated into national and local policies and have proper institutional arrangements to coordinate its implementation at the country level.
